I was washing my hands and for some reason or the other felt the need to examined them very closely. I realized there were no blemishes or scars. I then proceeded to do the same with my arms and recognized that it also had no blemishes or scars. I thought, surely I've hurt, burned, hit, and scared both my hands and arms over the years, yet today I see no scars.
Then the Holy Spirit brought to mind, the same way your hands and arms does not reveal your past hurt, scars or pain, it's the same way I've covered and protected you over the years. Today you came through those hurt, pain, scars but have no visible damage.
My God, But for His Grace. God's love kept me through it all, the same way He's keeping you today. The word of God said He who began a good work in you will complete it. Life will happen but when we have God on our side, we will go through the fire, but come out without a scar. The devil often tries to remind us about those scars But, we must be bold enough to tell that devil, God's grace was and is sufficient for me.
Thank you, Lord.
