Get to Know Us
Taking Care of Our Mental Health (TCOOMH) is a community-based wellness organization committed to supporting individuals and families through education, faith-centered encouragement, and access to practical resources. Founded to address the needs of underserved and disenfranchised communities, TCOOMH provides wellness workshops that focus on the whole person, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Our clients include adults, youth, families, and community members seeking guidance, healing, and stability. We offer Christian counseling and supportive services that promote personal growth, healthy coping skills, and restored confidence. When clinical care is needed, we connect individuals to trusted clinical practices and mental health professionals for additional support. TCOOMH also links clients to community resources such as employment readiness services, educational programs, housing support, and benefits assistance to help them become more self-sufficient. In addition to direct services, we give back through charitable outreach, including clothing donations to homeless shelters, food giveaways to the community, and back-to-school giveaways through collaborative partnerships. Our mission is to help people heal, build resilience, and move forward with hope and purpose.
